Tantra, as lived at this Ashram, does not ask a person to flee body, family, or work. It asks for a clear seeing: that the Divine already moves through all of them. From that seeing, puja becomes care, and care becomes a more humane society.

Introduction
An Ashram, and a Foundation
Shree Meenananda Foundation is the public face of an Ashram raised by Sri Meenananda Tirthanath and Guruma Minakshi Devyomba in Gopikantapur, Kopai, in the paddy country of Birbhum. The existing site described it as a tree of spiritual lineage. We keep that image, and we add what the work now asks of it: a place of sadhana that also feeds, clothes, teaches, and tends life around it.

Sri Meenananda Tirthanath often says: “Tantra is the religion of mankind but humanity is the religion of this universe.” The sentence is not an advertisement. It is a discipline. If the sacred is everywhere, then the hungry neighbour, the cow in the shed, the child who needs a book, and the evening kirtan are not separate departments. They are one practice, seen from different sides.

Compassionate Service
Clothing given on Guruma’s advent tithi, community meals, cow care, and the longer work of standing beside people who have less.

Education, yoga, a clearer way of living, and the Foundation’s unfinished programmes for health and learning in the villages around Kopai.
Daily evening kirtan
The day should end in song.
Evening kirtan is held daily, subject to Ashram confirmation. The exact hour is not yet published — please telephone before you travel for kirtan alone. Guest performances on the official channel include Padma Shri Purna Das Baul and Kirtan Samrat Suman Bhattacharya.

Grand Kali Puja
Kali Puja is the heart of the Ashram's public worship. The shrine of Maa stands at the centre of the temple, and the official channel records a Doordarshan interview given on Kali Puja 2023. The next date will be published here when the Ashram confirms it.

The official channel records clothing distribution on Guruma’s advent tithi. A community meal is part of Ashram life. We do not invent how many people were served. The work is shown as it was lived.
